Methodology

Evidence-first methodology

We distinguish what is observed, what is demonstrated, and what remains unknown. Findings are documented according to the evidence available at the time of assessment.

Do not treat every potential impact as confirmed. Classification follows the evidence — not assumption.

Confirmed

Directly observed

Findings that are directly observed and reproducible under the assessment scope.

Assessed

Impact supported

Potential compliance or operational impact supported by available evidence, clearly labeled as assessment.

Unresolved

Proof gaps

Questions that require internal validation or additional authorized testing before a conclusion can be drawn.

Not Demonstrated

Not established

Potential impacts considered or tested that were not established by the evidence obtained.

From exposure to remediation

A bounded path from external observation to optional verification — without conflating discovery with retained remediation work.

01

Assess

Identify externally accessible systems, data exposure, authentication weaknesses, and application security conditions.

02

Document

Record evidence, affected systems, observed data types, and relevant technical conditions.

03

Classify

Separate confirmed findings from interpretation, unresolved questions, and potential impact.

04

Remediate

Produce a prioritized remediation plan with verification criteria — optional and scope-based.

05

Verify

Confirm that remediation measures address the identified exposure when follow-up is engaged.

Boundaries that stay fixed

  • We distinguish observed facts from interpretation and legal conclusions.
  • We do not infer access or impact that has not been demonstrated.
  • We do not characterize an exposure as a breach without sufficient evidence.
  • Identification of an exposure does not depend on retaining Compliance Bureau for remediation.
  • Notification of an observed exposure is not conditioned on purchasing remediation.
  • Remediation assistance is optional. Organizations may remediate internally or engage another qualified provider.
